The collaboration EP 'Everyday in the Club / Bounce on the Water' by Bristol, UK-based producer and DJ 'Hodge', who continues to influence the global bass music scene, and Japanese rapper 'Nakamura Minami', whose collaborations with Roska and Itoa have been played all over the world, is released on Friday 26 April 2024 on the leading Japanese dance music label TREKKIE TRAX.

Hodge and Nakamura Minami first met when they produced 'Roska - Pree Me feat. Nakamura Minami (Hodge Remix)', and the friendship that started through TREKKIE TRAX naturally led to this collaboration.

The track 'Everyday in the Club' features an aggressive beat with a low centre of gravity that is conscious of techno and breakbeats, a characteristic of Hodge, and impressive repetitive melodies, with an impressive danceable flow by Nakamura Minami.

The track's fantastical synthesizer sound inspired the themes of 'water' and 'sea', while the public swimming pool and the dance floor psychedelically intersect, and in the second half, the lyrical projection of the seaside and cityscape of Tsujido, a local area, reminiscent of Nakamura Minami's signature song 'Ride', was used in 'Bounce on the Water'.

Another version of the song is "Bounce on the Water (Flipped)", which combines a melancholy piano melody, a euphoric development reminiscent of film music, and a juke/footwork style beat in an innovative balance.
